Save the Date: October 22, 2011. Black Star’s Day of the Dead Strip Crawl is raising spirits on The Sunset Strip and we want you to be there!
This Strip Crawl will include Day of the Dead themed shenanigans as we crawl from The World Famous Comedy Store to The Roxy Theatre & hit all of our favorite spots in between. There will be games, contests, tarot card readers, pumpkins, Day of the Dead face painting, a Mariachi band or two, and so much more. Food & drink specials go without saying on top of all the awesome swag we’ll be handing out all night.
Stops include The Viper Room, Red Rock, Isla, The Comedy Store, The Roxy & more. Black Star Beer will be on special throughout the night. Their vintage Airstream equipped with a digital photo booth will be parked along the strip, so hop in and document the evening’s festivities! Stay tuned for more details as they come!

Warm Up to SSMF with a Pool Party!
The Sunset Strip usual suspects are gathering to get you excited for the Sunset Strip Music Festival by having a pool party at The Standard Hollywood August 13!
The Roxy, The Comedy Store, The Standard, House of Blues Sunset, Key Club, Soundcheck Hollywood, and more will be parking at the pool for the day with giveaways including tickets, merch, and all kinds of goodies to keep you rockin and even passes to SSMF up for grabs! There will be plenty of drink specials to keep you “hydrated” too.
Entertainment will be provided by Cowboys & Indians, Rusty Maples, and special guest John Bennett doing a set of acoustic covers by your favorite bands playing this year’s SSMF! Brush up on your Public Enemy lyrics, if you know what’s good for ya.
